In 2022, we made history in Brisbane by electing Stephen Bates as our federal Member of Parliament. Stephen is the first ever Greens member for our side of town at any level of government - and he’s been fighting for us every day both in Parliament and in our community. This year we secured huge swings to the Greens across the board at the Brisbane City Council election.
The major parties have been put on notice: more people than ever are ditching the major parties for the Greens.
Come along to our Winning the Northside campaign strategy session where you’ll hear from Stephen and our Queensland State Election candidates about our plans to break the two-party system's chokehold on Queensland politics. We will be wrapping up with a quick workshop about political persuasion, then feel free to join us at the pub afterwards!
You will find out how we campaign, why it works, and all the different ways you can get involved to help us change history for the better.
This campaign introduction event will be fun and social. You will have the opportunity to ask questions, meet Stephen, and engage with your neighbours and fellow Greens.
